United Way has created a COVID-19 Community Economic Relief Fund. The purpose of the Relief Fund is to possibly help with bills, rent, and food. Their number is (877)-541-7905. The COVID-19 Community Economic Relief Fund should be able to help with a list of local agencies to assist.
COMPUDOPT is providing free computers to parents for students in K-12 that reside and attend school in Harris County. They have about 50-60 free computers per day. All families must pre-register. Registration opens at 12:00 pm.
Comcast is providing families with two months of free internet. Additionally, they are offering discounted laptops and desktops at a discounted price for their customers.
